Turning a Challenging Service Line into a Recurring Revenue Campaign

IV therapy was a challenging service line to market across Forum Health’s clinic network. Competition from IV drip bars and the cost of advertising complicated patient acquisition. Forum Health’s prescription-grade therapies also carried higher pricing, and many require prior testing.

I saw an opportunity to engage existing patients through a coordinated promotion that made purchasing more accessible while maintaining the clinics’ clinical requirements.

Testing the Opportunity

In 2024, I began testing an IV flash sale with select clinics that needed a sales boost. The success of those campaigns led to a standardized, company-wide offering in October 2025, giving clinics the option to participate each quarter.

Working with operations and clinic teams, I helped establish a consistent offer: 15% off one IV or 25% off a package of three.

Making Purchasing Easier

I further developed options for patients to purchase over the phone and bank treatments for future use. This allowed patients to take advantage of the promotion without receiving their treatments during the sale period and helped increase purchase volume.

Campaign communications clearly explained the purchase process, prior testing requirements for certain IVs, and the six-month redemption window for banked treatments.

Leading the Campaign

I managed the campaign from planning through execution and reporting. My responsibilities included:

  • Writing all copy for emails, flyers, Facebook posts, and promotional TV slides.

  • Setting the timing for each campaign touchpoint and coordinating participation with clinics.

  • Distributing campaign materials to participating locations.

  • Providing creative direction and final approval for social graphics, Google Business Profile graphics, and flyers.

  • Designing promotional TV slides for use in clinics.

  • Following up with participating clinic managers to collect sales revenue.

The campaign used existing email audiences, organic social channels, and clinic promotion, requiring no additional paid advertising spend. Execution relied on internal marketing time and clinic team participation.

WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW

The Results

The campaign now runs every quarter and averages more than $40,000 in reported sales per flash sale, based on figures collected from participating clinic managers.

As one of Forum Health’s few standardized company-wide offers, it provides a consistent framework that clinics can opt into and the marketing team can replicate efficiently.

Company-wide IV revenue has also increased this year beyond the promotional periods. While that broader growth cannot be attributed solely to the flash sale, it provides encouraging context for the campaign’s continued role in supporting the service line.
